Half-Life: Generation is a collection of updated versions of Half-Life, Blue Shift, Opposing Force and Counter-Strike.

Two previous versions were released without Blue Shift, both of which had black and orange covers. The first release did not contain Counter-Strike, but it was later replaced by a newer package including the game, as seen to the right.^[2] Another version was split into two CDs with Half-Life and Counter-Strike on one, and Opposing Force on the other.
